Dorenlee Darling Doodles puppy in the Alberta therapeutic puppy program

Five-stage sensory integration

Our Program

A structured early-learning program that pairs each puppy development stage with obedience, etiquette, socialization and support.

What separates the program

Learning begins when the puppy's senses are ready for it.

Dorenlee staff and handlers are experienced in canine behavior and weekly puppy development. As hearing, sight and scent develop, the team introduces desired commands and manners in a way puppies can absorb.

The goal is a calm, confident puppy who has already begun building communication, obedience, bathroom routines and social trust before leaving for a new home.

Auditory

Verbal cues are introduced as the puppy's hearing develops so commands become familiar early.

Visual

Handlers pair hand signals, posture and routine with commands to build a broader communication language.

Scent

Scent is used thoughtfully because it is a canine's earliest and strongest sense.

Support

Families receive breeder support and can access training consultation as their puppy settles in.
